How to Install the ANGEL Secure Browser

To install the Secure Browser please follow these instructions:

Windows XP Home/Professional

1. Click here to Download the Secure Browser.
   
   
2. When the setup begins click Run..
   
   
   
   
3. Click Next
   
   
   
   
4. Click the Agree radio button and click Next
   
   
   
   
5. Click Next
   
   
   
   
6. The Secure Browser will continue to install...
   
   
   
   
7. Click Finish
   
   
   
   
8. Click your Start button and go to All Programs and you will see the Secure Browser icon listed in your program list
   
   
   
   
9. Right click the Secure Browser, go to the Send To menu and then click Desktop (create shortcut) to make a shortcut on your desktop
   
   
   
   
10. Double click the FSMFN Angel Secure Browser icon that should now be on your desktop
    
    
    
    
11. Please enter http://angel.frontierschool.edu in the Angel Secure Testing URL field. Leave the Password field BLANK and place check marks in the bottom two options and click OK
    
    
    
    
12. Use Angel as you normally would

Windows Vista

1. Click here to Download the Secure Browser.
   
   
2. When the setup begins click Run..
   
   
   
   
3. If you receive this message after clicking the run command, please click Allow
   
   
   
   
4. Click Next
   
   
   
   
5. Click the radio button next to "I accept the terms..." and click Next
   
   
   
   
6. Click the Install button
   
   
   
   
7. The Install will progress as shown by the green bar
   
   
   
   
8. Click the Finish button to complete the install
   
   
   
   
9. Now click your Start menu and click Programs. You will see the Secure Browser listed. Right Click and click on Properties
   
   
   
   
10. When the Properties dialog box opens, click the Advanced button
    
    
    
    
11. When the Advanced dialog box opens, place a check in the Run as Administrator check box and click OK, then OK again to close out of the properties dialog
    
    
    
    
12. Now click your Start menu and click Programs. Right click the Secure Browser listed in the Programs menu, click the Send to Menu and click Desktop (create shortcut)
    
    
    
    
13. The Secure Browser icon should appear on your desktop. Double click the icon.
    
    
    
    
14. Please enter http://angel.frontierschool.edu in the Angel Secure Testing URL field. Leave the Password field BLANK and place check marks in the bottom two options and click OK
    
    
    
    
15. Use Angel as you normally would
